LISI Recognized with 2022 Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising Award for Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP’s Real Estate Fast Forward Micosite

The Web Marketing Association has recognized Legal Internet Solutions Incorporated (LISI) with the 2022 Internet Advertising Competition Award for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising for the second iteration of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP’s immersive microsite, Real Estate Fast Forward, set in a Los Angeles museum. 

Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, with offices in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Washington, D.C., provides transactional, regulatory, and litigation advice to financial institutions, multinational corporations, and entrepreneurial businesses globally. Wanting to highlight the thought leadership of their real estate group, the team at Stroock was looking for a creative, whimsical, and never-been-done-before experience to share with clients and prospects.

When they approached LISI, they were looking for a way to connect with clients and contacts remotely, as the Covid-19 pandemic was impacting in-person interactions. What started out as an aspirational concept quickly became a one-of-a-kind adventure reminiscent of Google maps-meets-online gaming. 

The team at LISI developed an immersive microsite that is experienced as a series of vignettes with Easter eggs hidden throughout, taking visitors on a stroll down the streets of New York or through a museum in Los Angeles. By moving throughout the site and interacting with it, users can explore podcasts, social media posts, vidoes, and other content from the Stroock Real Estate practice group. The first iteration of Real Estate Fast Forward explored the streets of New York and launched in September 2021. The second interaction, for which this award was won, focuses on a museum in Los Angeles and launched in January 2022. A third and fourth installment, set in Washington, D.C., and Miami, will be launched in the coming months.  

Now in its 15th year, the Web Marketing Association names the Best Legal Ad as part of the annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards. Winners are selected by a group of judges who are peers within that industry. They review the submissions using the criteria of design, ease of use, copywriting, interactivity, use of technology, innovation, and content.
