Building an Authentic, Purpose-filled Community for Professional Women

On September 7, Robyn Addis presented “Building an Authentic, Purpose-filled Community for Professional Women,” to Intapp’s Women’s Interest Network.

One day in October 2020, in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic, Robyn shared the first of what would grow to more than 100 LinkedIn posts in her #FollowFriday series, surprising a professional woman or ally with a public affirmation of what made that individual outstanding. Professional accomplishments, personal anecdotes, and special little habits Robyn had noticed and which stuck out to her about each person. The groundswell of support and positive sentiment that grew out of this random act ultimately led Robyn to create the inaugural #FollowFriday International Women’s Day Conference on March 8, 2023.

Attendees heard Robyn share the story of what led her to that pivotal moment, how she consciously chose to be a positive force for uplifting and supporting other women, and how they can make their own positive impact in their communities.
