LISI Recognized with 2022 Legal Standard of Excellence WebAward for Justice for Social Media Victims Microsite

The Web Marketing Association has recognized Legal Internet Solutions Incorporated (LISI) with the 2022 Legal Standard of Excellence WebAward for the Justice for Social Media Victims microsite, created by LISI for Saltz Mongeluzzi & Bendesky and DiCello Levitt.

Saltz Mongeluzzi & Bendesky and DiCello Levitt, two of the nation’s premier litigation firms, are working together to achieve Justice for Social Media Victims. Since social media emerged around 2011, it has been linked to increased rates of mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, and suicide. There have also been numerous reports of physical injuries and deaths caused by children imitating actions or following instructions that they have seen on social media, such as the Blackout Challenge. 

The team at LISI developed a website that aims to educate parents and family members of a child whose injury or death was caused by social media. It provides information, resources, and contact information for law firms who can answer more questions, and possibly represent family members in these tragic circumstances. 

Together, these two firms are a powerful foe to the tech giants that are causing harm to innocent victims and their families. They are bringing their years of experience in contentious litigation and their knowledge of complex issues in technology law to the table to help injured victims and their families get the justice they deserve.
