Rae Ritter

Almost twenty years ago, Rae Ritter accidentally forged a career in legal marketing.

With an education in marketing, international business, and studio art, Rae landed a fast-paced marketing position in a large international AmLaw 100 firm where she proved her value and gained responsibility quickly, as her focus shifted to MarTech. Rae made herself indispensable by mastering the CRM, email marketing, and CMS applications that were the foundation of many firm marketing efforts. Rae’s pragmatic problem-solving nature was a match for the intense and demanding law firm environment.

For seven years Rae has been the Director of Client Service and Marketing at LISI, where she sits on the other side of the table—guiding law firm clients through strategic planning to convert website goals and ideas into high-performing, unique websites that support their other marketing strategies. Rae’s skill at drawing out goals and ideas, and distilling what makes the firm different [better] than the competition is critical to a successful outcome. Sometimes that means positioning a firm where it wants to be—not just where it is or historically was. It takes a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and creative thinking to drive these results for top tier law firms.

Rae is a long-standing member of the Delaware Valley Law Firm Marketing Group and the Legal Marketing Association where she co-chaired the Communications Committee. She routinely makes presentations for these organizations as well as the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Association of Legal Administrators. Her most popular topics include LinkedIn Best Practices, Social Media Strategy, Project Management Tips and Tactics, and Law Firm Websites.

When Rae takes off her legal marketing hat, she is a mom to city kids who walk to school, the playground, and the market. She is a proud Philadelphian who is deeply invested in her community, serving as the de facto block captain, neighborhood advocate, and committee member of the local public school’s biggest fundraising event of the year. Rae is an optimist by nature and will take every opportunity to soak in fresh air and sunshine, which fuels her soul.
