Ann Caskey

Legal Writer + Content Editor

Ann Caskey is an international attorney and legal writer.

Ann’s legal experience has crossed countries, continents, and practice areas. She is currently admitted to the practice of law in England and Wales (non-practising), New York, and Alabama.

Ann began her legal journey in her native Ireland, where she graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast with a First Class Honors degree in Law and Accounting and a Certificate in Business Practice, including a year studying in the U.S.A. Following that, Ann moved to England where she graduated from BPP Law School with a Distinction in Legal Practice and trained with the international magic circle firm Clifford Chance, LLP in their offices in London and Amsterdam. While at Clifford Chance, she worked with major corporations, banks, and ultra-high net worth individuals in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, employment law, real estate, and litigation. She also volunteered at an East London pro bono clinic handling landlord/tenant issues, employment matters, personal bankruptcy, and other private client concerns.

Ever the wanderer, Ann soon moved “across the pond” to the U.S., where she worked as a commercial paralegal in the Mississippi law firm of Brunini, Grantham, Grower and Hewes, PLLC. At the Brunini law firm, her work focused on commercial transactions, corporate governance, estate planning, and estate administration, and occasional litigation and immigration matters. After a short break from the legal world, a move to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a successful bar exam, Ann was approached by LISI, where a new career began.

At LISI, Ann creates and shapes content that is tailored to the client’s audience and goals. Whether writing an eye-catching attorney bio or drafting a technical legal article, Ann uses raw facts and aspirations to build compelling pieces that reflect the voice and needs of each client. With a reputation for meticulous attention to detail, Ann enjoys collaborating with her colleagues and clients to create precise and powerful content for attorneys in a broad spectrum of practice areas from bankruptcy and M&A to personal injury and lemon law.

With a natural inclination toward the “legal” in “legal marketing,” Ann enjoys researching, applying, and sharing information about the legal and ethical restrictions affecting attorney advertising. She is also newly passionate about the world of GenAI – its uses, limitations, and, of course, legal and ethical concerns.

In her latest home state of Georgia, Ann volunteers with Atlanta-based 48in48, an organization that gathers professionals to create websites for nonprofits at free build events. In her downtime, she enjoys simple things: a run with her dog in the woods, a good book, the company of friends and family, and exploring the world with her husband and kids. She recently rekindled a childhood love of kayaking and dreams of whitewater rapids in her future.

Meet Ann. She goes above and beyond.

“A master of her craft, Ann transcends our clients' work through her exceptional legal writing. She is the epitome of teamwork — always ready and willing to lend a hand. She brings an abundance of kindness and humor into our work world, making it brighter each day. I am lucky to know her.”
